Bathing from a Single Pot

SUMMARY: Taking a bath from a single pot was practiced by Prophet Muhammad and his wife Aisha.

Narrated 'Aisha: The Prophet and I used to take a bath from a single pot called 'Faraq'.
حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَالنَّبِيُّ، مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ قَدَحٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ الْفَرَقُ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
According to the hadith narrated by 'Aisha, Prophet Muhammad and his wife used to take a bath from one pot called Faraq. It also shows that they were not shy or embarrassed about their bodies in front of each other, which is an important lesson for couples today. Furthermore, it teaches us that modesty should be observed even when we are alone with our spouses.
