The Caliphate of Prophecy

SUMMARY: The caliphate of Prophecy will last for thirty years and then Allah will give the Kingdom to whomever He wishes.

Safinah reported the Messenger of Allah as saying: The caliphate of Prophecy will last thirty years; then Allah will give the Kingdom to whom he wishes; or his kingdom to whom he wishes.
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنِ الْعَوَّامِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُمْهَانَ، عَنْ سَفِينَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ خِلاَفَةُ النُّبُوَّةِ ثَلاَثُونَ سَنَةً ثُمَّ يُؤْتِي اللَّهُ الْمُلْكَ مَنْ يَشَاءُ - أَوْ مُلْكَهُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the caliphate of prophecy which is a period that lasts for thirty years. After this period ends, it is up to Allah to decide who will be given the kingdom or authority over it. This hadith teaches us that we should always remember that everything ultimately belongs to God and He has control over all things in this world. We should also remember that our actions have consequences and we must strive to do good deeds in order to receive blessings from God.
