QUICK LESSONS:
Listen carefully before acting, Take advice from those in authority

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of listening to advice from those in authority. In this case, Sa'd b. 'Ubadah was advised by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to listen to what his chief was saying when he asked if a man should kill another man who is found with his wife. This hadith teaches us that we should always be open and willing to take advice from those in authority and not act impulsively or without thinking things through first. It also teaches us that it is important for us as Muslims to respect our elders and those in positions of power and authority over us as they may have valuable insight into situations that we may not be aware of or understand fully ourselves.
