EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith, the Prophet (ﷺ) warns against killing someone after accepting blood-wit. Blood-wit is a form of punishment in which the perpetrator pays money or goods to the victim's family as compensation for their loss. The Prophet (ﷺ) states that he will not forgive anyone who kills after accepting blood-wit, meaning that it is an unforgivable sin in Islam. This hadith teaches us that we should not take matters into our own hands and instead seek justice through legal means such as qisas or maghfirah. We should also remember to forgive those who have wronged us and seek forgiveness from Allah for our own sins.
