Stay at home during times of turmoil

This hadith speaks about the importance of staying safe during times of turmoil. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ advised people to remain in their homes during such times, as it is better than getting up or walking or running. He also warned that there will be commotions like pieces of a dark night, where people may change from being believers to infidels and vice versa. This hadith teaches us that we should not get involved in any kind of conflict or dispute during such times and instead focus on our own safety by staying at home. It also reminds us that faith can be easily swayed by external influences and hence we should always strive to strengthen our faith through prayer and good deeds so as not to be affected by any kind of fitnah.
