Restraining Hands from Evil

SUMMARY: The Prophet warned the Arabs of an impending evil and advised them to restrain their hands from it.

Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet as saying: Woe to Arabs because of evil which has drawn near! He will escape who restrains his hand.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ فَارِسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ شَيْبَانَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَبِ مِنْ شَرٍّ قَدِ اقْتَرَبَ أَفْلَحَ مَنْ كَفَّ يَدَهُ

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ warned the Arabs of an impending evil that was drawing near. He advised them to restrain their hands from it, meaning they should not partake in any activities related to this evil. This hadith teaches us that we should stay away from any kind of wrongdoing or bad deeds, as they will only bring harm and destruction upon us. We must be mindful of our actions and strive to do good deeds instead, as these will bring us closer to Allah SWT and His blessings.
