The Reward of Faithful Service

SUMMARY: Serving one's master sincerely and worshipping Allah perfectly will result in a double reward.

Narrated 'Abdullah: The Prophet said, "If a slave serves his Saiyid (ie master) sincerely and worships his Lord (Allah) perfectly, he will get a double reward".
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ إِذَا نَصَحَ الْعَبْدُ سَيِّدَهُ، وَأَحْسَنَ عِبَادَةَ رَبِّهِ، كَانَ لَهُ أَجْرُهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ

This hadith, narrated by 'Abdullah, speaks of the importance of faithfully serving one's master and worshipping Allah.
