QUICK LESSONS:
Be generous with your resources; Share what you have with others; Sacrifice something if needed; Follow instructions from Allah's Messenger ﷺ .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's instruction to Uqba bin Amir to sacrifice a kid for himself. The Prophet Muhammad was known for his generosity and kindness towards others. He often gave away animals such as sheep and goats as gifts or sacrifices in order to help those in need. In this particular instance, he gave some sheep to Uqba bin Amir so that he could distribute them among his companions and then sacrifice them. However, one of the kids was left over and when Uqba told the Prophet about it, he instructed him to sacrifice it on his own behalf. This hadith teaches us that we should be generous with our resources and share what we have with others even if it means sacrificing something of our own in order to do so. It also shows us how kind the Prophet Muhammad was towards those around him by giving away animals as gifts or sacrifices even when there were not enough resources available for everyone.
