EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about settling disputes between two people. It was narrated by AbuHurayrah that two men were in a dispute over some property and they brought the case to the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Neither of them could provide any proof, so the Holy Prophet (PBUH) suggested that they should cast lots about the oath whatever it may be, whether they like it or dislike it. This hadith teaches us that when we are in a disagreement with someone, we should try to resolve it peacefully and fairly without resorting to violence or aggression. We should also remember that Allah is always watching us and He will judge us according to our actions. Therefore, we must strive for justice and fairness in all our dealings with others.
