EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of eating ripe fruits. It was narrated by Jabir bin 'Abdullah that the Prophet Muhammad forbade the sale of fruits until they are ripened. When asked what he meant by ripening, he replied that they become red or yellow and can be eaten. This hadith teaches us to only eat fruit when it is ripe and ready to be consumed as unripe fruit can cause harm to our bodies. It also teaches us not to buy unripe fruit from sellers as this is forbidden in Islam. We should always wait for our food items to reach their peak ripeness before consuming them so we can get all their nutritional benefits without any health risks associated with eating unripe food items.
