Transmit knowledge from one generation to another

This hadith is about the transmission of a similar tradition from one narrator to another, through a chain of narrators known as silsilah. The narrator in this hadith is Yusuf b. 'Abd Allah b. Salam, who transmitted the tradition to others in his chain of narrators, which was then passed on to us today for our benefit and guidance in life according to Islamic teachings and values. This hadith emphasizes the importance of transmitting knowledge from one generation to another so that it can be preserved and shared with future generations for their benefit as well as ours today, thus allowing us all to learn from it and live our lives according to its teachings and values accordingly.
