Visit people when they're sick; preserve and transmit Islamic teachings; pass on accurate information about Islamic teachings

This hadith speaks to the importance of visiting those who are sick, as well as transmitting traditions from one generation to another. It is narrated by Abu Ja'far 'Abd Allah b. Nafi', a slave of al-Hasan b. 'Ali, that Abu Musa paid a visit to al-Hasan when he was ill and transmitted a tradition from the Prophet without any sound manner. This highlights two important values in Islam - caring for those who are ill, and preserving knowledge through transmission of traditions from one generation to another so that it can be passed down accurately over time.
