EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) sacrifice of a camel and a cow for seven people at al-Ḥudaybiya. This event took place during the Treaty of Ḥudaybiya, which was an agreement between the Muslims and their opponents in Mecca. The treaty was made to ensure peace between both sides, and it is said that this sacrifice was part of the agreement. This hadith teaches us that sacrificing animals can be done as an act of worship to Allah, but also as an act of kindness towards others. It also shows us how important it is to keep our promises and agreements with others, even if they are not from our own faith or culture.
