Pray before undertaking any task or activity in our lives . Be thankful for all that we have been blessed with by Him . Ask Him for His acceptance in whatever we do . Remember those who are less fortunate than us when sacrificing an animal or offering something as charity or donation .

This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's practice of sacrificing a horned ram with black legs, black belly and black round the eyes. He asked his wife Aishah to sharpen a knife with a stone before he slaughtered it. He then said "In the name of Allah. O Allah, accept it for Muhammad, Muhammad's family and Muhammad's people." This hadith teaches us that we should always remember to pray to Allah before doing any task or activity in our lives. We should also be thankful for all that we have been blessed with by Him and ask Him for His acceptance in whatever we do. It also teaches us that when sacrificing an animal or offering something as charity or donation, we should always remember those who are less fortunate than us and ask God to accept it on their behalf too.
