The Value of Silence in Battle

SUMMARY: The Companions of the Prophet disliked shouting while fighting.

Narrated Qays ibn Abbad: The Companions of the Prophet , disliked shouting while fighting.
حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عُبَادٍ، قَالَ كَانَ أَصْحَابُ النَّبِيِّ يَكْرَهُونَ الصَّوْتَ عِنْدَ الْقِتَالِ
