Sunan Abi Dawud 2495 (Book 15, Hadith 19) #22786
Murderers and their Victims Will Not Be Together in Hell

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught that those who commit murder and those they kill will not be together in Hell.

Abu Hurairah reported the Apostle of Allaah as saying "An infidel and the one who killed him will never be brought together in Hell".

QUICK LESSONS:
Do what is right and avoid doing wrong so you can receive reward from Allah on the Day of Judgment.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that the punishment for those who commit murder is different from the punishment of their victims. It is a reminder to us all that we should never take another person's life as it is a serious crime with severe consequences. The Prophet Muhammad also taught us that no matter how bad someone has been in this life, they will still receive justice from Allah on the Day of Judgment. We should always strive to do what is right and avoid doing wrong so that we can be rewarded with Paradise instead of punished with Hellfire.
