Take care of your pets; Make sure they have enough food & water; Set them free if possible; Be kind & compassionate towards animals; Take responsibility for their wellbeing

This hadith tells us that we should take care of our pets and not neglect them. Allah's Messenger said that a woman was put in Hell because she kept her cat locked up until it died from hunger. Allah said to the woman that she did not feed or water the cat when she locked it up, nor did she set it free to eat the vermin of the earth. We can learn from this hadith that we should be kind and compassionate towards animals and take responsibility for their well-being. We should make sure they have enough food and water, as well as access to fresh air and exercise if possible. If we do this then Allah will reward us for our kindness towards animals.
