Seek justice even in difficult situations; Consult those who are more knowledgeable than you; Seek guidance from Allah SWT; Follow Islamic teachings; Respect others' opinions; Be patient while making decisions; Do not take matters into your own hands without consulting someone else first .

This hadith is about how Ali ibn Abi Talib (RA) used a lottery system to determine the father of a child born out of wedlock. Three men were brought before him who had all engaged in sexual intercourse with the same woman during her single state of purity. He asked two of them if they acknowledged that this man was the father, but they both denied it. So he cast lots among them and attributed the child to whoever received it, and imposed two-thirds of blood money on him as compensation for his mother. When this was mentioned to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, he laughed so much that his molar teeth appeared. This shows us that justice should be sought even in difficult situations such as these, and that we should always seek guidance from Allah SWT in our decisions. It also teaches us not to take matters into our own hands without consulting those who are more knowledgeable than us first.
