QUICK LESSONS:
Be generous when giving gifts/donations as part of any agreement/contract between two parties

EXPLANATIONS:
According to the hadith narrated by Abu Salamah, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) gave a dower of twelve Uqiyahs and a nashsh. An Uqiyah is an ancient unit of weight used in Arabia before Islam, equivalent to approximately 4.25 grams. A nashsh is half an uqiayh, or 2.125 grams. This was the amount given as dower at that time for marriage contracts in Arabia before Islam was revealed. This hadith shows us that even though times have changed since then, it is important to be generous when giving gifts or making donations as part of any agreement or contract between two parties. It also teaches us about being mindful of our actions and how they can affect others around us positively or negatively depending on our intentions and generosity towards them.
