Praying in Mina During Hajj

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) offered the noon prayer on the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah and dawn prayer on the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah in Mina.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: The Messenger of Allah offered the noon prayer on the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah (Yawm at-Tarwiyah) and dawn prayer on the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah (Yawm al-Arafah) in Mina.
حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَحْوَصُ بْنُ جَوَّابٍ الضَّبِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمَّارُ بْنُ رُزَيْقٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ الظُّهْرَ يَوْمَ التَّرْوِيَةِ وَالْفَجْرَ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ بِمِنًى

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Abdullah ibn Abbas tells us about an important event that happened during the pilgrimage to Mecca, known as Hajj. On the 8th day of Dhul-Hijjah, which is known as Yawm at-Tarwiyah, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) offered his noon prayer in Mina. Similarly, on Yawm al-Arafah which is also known as 9th day of Dhul Hijjah, he offered his dawn prayer in Mina. This hadith teaches us that it is important to offer prayers during Hajj and it should be done with utmost devotion and sincerity. It also shows us how devoted Prophet Muhammad was towards Allah's commands and how he followed them without any hesitation or doubt.
