Sunan Abi Dawud 1900 (Book 11, Hadith 180) #22192
Praying at the Entrance of Ka'bah

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) praying in a corner near the entrance of the Ka'bah.

Abdullah ibn as-Sa'ib reported on the authority of his father as-Sa'ib that he used to lead Ibn Abbas (when he become blind) and make him stand in the third corner that was adjacent to the corner (Black Stone) near the entrance of the Ka'bah. Ibn Abbas used to say: Has it been reported to you that the Messenger of Allah would pray in this place. He would reply: Yes. He then used to stand (there) and pray.
