Betrothal and its Prohibition

SUMMARY: The hadith is about not making a betrothal.

The aforesaid tradition has also been transmitted by Aban bin 'Uthman on the authority of 'Uthman from the Apostle of Allaah in a similar manner. This version adds "And he should not make a betrothal"
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَهُمْ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ مَطَرٍ، وَيَعْلَى بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ نُبَيْهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ زَادَ ‏ "‏ وَلاَ يَخْطُبُ
