QUICK LESSONS:
Follow all rules associated with religious rituals such as Hajj or Umrah .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a man who came to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ while he was in Ji’ranah, wearing ihram for 'Umrah. He was also wearing a cloak, and his hair and beard were dyed. The Prophet ﷺ asked him why he had done this, to which the man replied that it was an act of beautification. The Prophet ﷺ then told him that those who are in ihram should not dye their hair or beard as it is forbidden for them to do so. This teaches us that when we are performing any religious rituals such as Hajj or Umrah, we should follow all of the rules associated with them so that our worship can be accepted by Allah SWT. We should also remember that beautifying ourselves is not necessary when performing religious rituals; rather, we should focus on pleasing Allah SWT through our actions instead of trying to look good for others.
