Equality in Hajj Rites

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) expressing regret that he did not take off his ihram with those who had put their ihram after performing 'Umrah, so that all people could have performed equal rites of Hajj.

A’ishah reported the Apostle of Allaah as saying "If I had known beforehand about my affair what I have come to know later, I would not have brought the sacrificial animals with me. The narrator Muhammad(bin Yahya) said " I think he(’Uthman bin 'Umar) said and I would have taken off my ihram with those who have put their ihram after performing 'Umrah. He said "By this he intended that all the people might have performed equal rites(of Hajj)

QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for fairness and justice in our actions no matter what situation we are in or what task we are undertaking .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was expressing regret for not taking off his ihram with those who had put their ihram after performing 'Umrah, so that all people could have performed equal rites of Hajj. This teaches us the importance of equality and fairness in our religious practices. It also shows us how important it is to think ahead and plan for situations before they arise, as this would have prevented the Prophet from having to express regret later on. We can learn from this example to always strive for fairness and justice in our actions, no matter what situation we are in or what task we are undertaking.
