EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about what is prohibited in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) forbade three things; earning money from prostitution, taking money for soothsaying and selling dogs. Prostitution is considered to be an immoral act in Islam as it goes against its teachings on modesty and chastity. Similarly, soothsaying or fortune telling is also forbidden as it involves seeking knowledge from sources other than Allah which goes against Islamic beliefs. Lastly, selling dogs was also made illegal as they are considered to be impure animals according to Islamic teachings.

The main values taught in this hadith are that one should stay away from immoral activities such as prostitution and should not seek knowledge from sources other than Allah. It also teaches us that we should respect all living creatures regardless of their status or purity according to religious teachings.
