Combining Friday and 'Id Prayers

SUMMARY: Ibn al-Zubair combined the Friday and 'id prayers into two rakahs in the morning and did not add anything to them until he offered the afternoon prayer.

'Ata’ said: The Friday and the 'id prayers synchronized during the time of Ibn al-Zubair. He said: Two festivals ('id and Friday) synchronized on the same day. He combined them and offered two rak’ahs in the morning and did not add anything to them until he offered the afternoon prayer.

We should also be aware of our time management so that we can fulfill all our duties without compromising any of them. Furthermore, this hadith also shows us that it is possible to combine certain religious obligations if needed, as long as it does not go against Islamic teachings or laws.
