Show your children/grandchildren kindness & compassion no matter what their age is; Strive to be like the Prophet Muhammad in your relationships with your own children/grandchildren by showing them kindness & compassion; Lead people in prayer while carrying a child on your shoulder if possible; Be patient even if they are disruptive or mischievous at times because they are still learning about life; Respect elders & those who have authority over you such as parents & teachers etc.; Follow Islamic teachings & traditions faithfully; Pray regularly according to Islamic teachings etc..

This hadith speaks to the love that the Prophet Muhammad had for his granddaughter Umamah. He was seen leading the people in prayer with her on his shoulder, and when it came time to prostrate, he put her down. This shows us how much love and care he had for her as a grandparent.
