Praising Allah in Recitation

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad, Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman used to begin their recitation with a phrase praising Allah.

'Anas said: The Prophet(peace be upon hm), Abu Bakr, 'Umar and 'Uthman used to begin the recitation with "Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe".
حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ وَأَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ كَانُوا يَفْتَتِحُونَ الْقِرَاءَةَ بِـ ‏{‏ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of praising Allah when reciting the Quran. It tells us that Prophet Muhammad, Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman all began their recitations with the phrase "Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe." This phrase is a reminder for us to always remember to thank and praise God for His blessings. It also serves as an example for us on how we should start our own recitations.
