QUICK LESSONS:
Be inclusive and accepting of those who are different from us , Serve and lead others regardless of abilities or disabilities
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad appointed Ibn Umm Maktum, a blind man, to lead the people in prayer. This shows that physical disability does not prevent someone from being able to serve and lead others. It also demonstrates that everyone has something valuable to contribute regardless of their abilities or disabilities. Furthermore, it teaches us that we should not judge someone based on their physical appearance but rather on their character and capabilities. This hadith also encourages us to be inclusive and accepting of those who are different from us.
