Shooting Arrows After Maghrib Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ used to offer the Maghrib prayer and then shoot arrows with his companions, and one of them could see where the arrow would fall.

Anas b. Malik said: We used to offer the Maghrib prayer with the Prophet and then shoot arrows, one of us could see the place where arrow would fall.
حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ كُنَّا نُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ثُمَّ نَرْمِي فَيَرَى أَحَدُنَا مَوْضِعَ نَبْلِهِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrated by Anas b. Malik tells us that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to offer the Maghrib prayer with his companions, and afterwards they would shoot arrows at a target. One of them was able to see where their arrow landed, indicating that they were skilled archers. This hadith teaches us about the importance of prayer in our lives as Muslims, as well as how important it is for us to develop skills in various activities such as archery or any other sport or hobby we may have an interest in.
