Praying During Menstruation

QUICK LESSONS:
Respect your spouse; Never neglect your prayers; Show kindness and consideration
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith shows the importance of prayer in Islam, even during times when it may be difficult to perform. It also shows the respect that the Prophet Muhammad had for his wife, Aishah, by not letting her miss out on prayer due to her menstrual cycle. He showed kindness and consideration by allowing her to lay beside him while he prayed with a sheet of cloth covering them both. This teaches us that we should never neglect our prayers no matter what situation we are in, as well as showing us how to treat our spouses with respect and kindness.
