The hadith narrated by 'Aishah tells us about the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in Islam. It is reported that when the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) entered his house, he would use a siwak to clean his mouth and teeth. A siwak is a small stick made from a tree root which is used for cleaning teeth and freshening breath.
