This hadith is narrated by Ibn 'Abbas and it states that the consumption of Nabidh made from Al-Busr is forbidden and not permissible. Nabidh is a type of drink which is prepared by soaking dates, raisins or other fruits in water for a period of time. It can be consumed as an alcoholic beverage if left to ferment for too long, however, this hadith specifically mentions that it should not be made with Al-Busr which refers to a type of date palm tree.
