QUICK LESSONS:
Remain humble and modest in all aspects of life

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith warns us against having pride in ourselves or our belongings. It is narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas'ud that the Prophet Muhammad said that whoever drags their garment out of pride, Allah will not look at them on the Day of Resurrection. This means that if someone has too much pride in themselves or their possessions, they will be punished for it on Judgment Day. Pride can lead to arrogance and a lack of humility which are both qualities that are frowned upon in Islam. Therefore, it is important to remember this hadith and strive to remain humble and modest in all aspects of life.
