Focus on prayer/recitation of Quran without distraction; Avoid extravagance in clothing choices; Remain humble before Allah

This hadith is about the prohibitions that were given by Prophet Muhammad to Ali. He was forbidden to recite the Quran while bowing in prayer as well as wearing gold or garments dyed with safflower dye. This hadith teaches us that we should not be distracted when we are praying or reciting the Quran; instead we should focus our attention on worshipping Allah alone. Additionally, it teaches us to avoid extravagance in our clothing choices by avoiding expensive materials such as gold or safflower dye which can be seen as a sign of vanity or pride. We should instead focus on modesty when it comes to our clothing choices so that we can remain humble before Allah.
