QUICK LESSONS:
Obey commands given by Prophet Muhammad
EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Ibn Himman tells us that Mu'awiyah went on Hajj and called a group of Ansar to the Ka'bah. He asked them if they heard the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad, forbid gold and they confirmed it. This hadith teaches us that we should obey the commands given by Prophet Muhammad as he was sent by God as His messenger. We should follow his teachings in order to be successful in this life and hereafter. It also teaches us that we should not disobey any orders given by him even if it is something small like forbidding gold or anything else for that matter.
