QUICK LESSONS:
Practice moderation when using luxuries

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Ali bin Abi Talib states that the Prophet of Allah prohibited the males of his Ummah from using silk and gold. This prohibition was not only limited to these two items, but also extended to other luxuries that were deemed unnecessary for men. This hadith serves as a reminder to all Muslims that they should be content with what they have and not seek after unnecessary luxuries or extravagance. It is important to remember that although it is permissible for women to use such items, it is still important to practice moderation in their use so as not to become too attached or dependent on them. Furthermore, this hadith teaches us about self-control and moderation in our lives, which are essential values in Islam.
