QUICK LESSONS:
Take care of your loved ones even when you're busy with your own spiritual practices or obligations .
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about how Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was taken care of by his wife Aisha during his time of devotion in the mosque. During her menses, she would comb and oil his hair while he was in a state of seclusion known as ‘I’tikaaf. He would stretch out his head towards her from inside the mosque so that she could do this for him from her chamber. This hadith teaches us about how important it is to take care of our loved ones even when we are busy with our own spiritual practices or obligations. It also shows us that even during times when women are not allowed to enter mosques due to their menstrual cycle they can still be involved with religious activities such as taking care of their husbands or family members who are devotedly engaged in worshiping Allah SWT.
