Respect other people's property

This hadith speaks about the punishment for theft during the time of Prophet Muhammad. It was narrated by Ayman that the hand of a thief would not be cut off except for the value of a shield, which in those days was equivalent to one Dinar. This hadith shows us that theft is considered to be a serious crime and should be punished accordingly. The Prophet Muhammad taught us that it is important to take action against those who commit such crimes in order to maintain justice and peace in society. We can learn from this hadith that we must respect other people's property and not steal from them, as it will have consequences if we do so.
