Diyah for Fingers

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the diyah (compensation) for fingers.

It was narrated that Ibn 'abbas said: "The (Diyah for) fingers are ten each".
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ الأَصَابِعُ عَشْرٌ عَشْرٌ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by Ibn 'Abbas and it talks about the diyah or compensation that should be paid for a finger. According to this hadith, the amount of diyah or compensation that should be paid for a finger is ten coins. This means that if someone loses their finger, they are entitled to receive ten coins as compensation from the person responsible. This teaches us to take responsibility and pay attention to our actions so we do not cause harm or injury to others. It also teaches us that we should be generous in compensating those who have suffered losses due to our negligence or carelessness.
