SUMMARY: The Prophet (PBUH) taught that one should not take possession of something until they have earned it.

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: "I heard the Prophet say" something similar to the preceding two reports "until he takes possession of it".

QUICK LESSONS:
Work hard and be righteous before taking possession .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that we should not take possession of something until we have earned it. This means that we must work hard and be righteous in order to gain the possessions that we desire. We must also remember to be thankful for what Allah has given us, as He is the ultimate provider and sustainer of all things. This hadith encourages us to strive for righteousness in our lives, so that when we do gain possessions, they are gained through honest means and with a grateful heart.
