EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that it is forbidden to exchange a heap of dried dates whose volume is unknown for known volume of dried dates. This means that when trading goods, one should be aware and knowledgeable about the quantity and quality they are exchanging. The Prophet Muhammad was teaching us to be honest in our dealings with others, and not to take advantage or deceive them in any way. He also taught us to be mindful when making transactions, so as not to make mistakes or cause harm to either party involved. We should always strive for fairness and justice in all our dealings with others, no matter how small or insignificant they may seem.
