Sunan an-Nasai 4483 (Book 44, Hadith 35) #19016
Right of Transaction Parties

SUMMARY: The two parties to a transaction have the right to change their minds until they part, unless they agree beforehand.

It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father , form his grandfather, that the Prophet said: "The two parties to a transaction have the choicer so long as they have not separated, unless they reach an agreement before parting, and it is not permissible to hasten to leave for fear that the other party may change his mind".

QUICK LESSONS:
Be honest and keep your word when making agreements or transactions . Think things through carefully before committing yourself fully .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the rights of two parties involved in a transaction. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that both parties have the right to change their minds until they part, unless they agree beforehand. This means that if one party changes their mind after agreeing on something, then the other party has the right to do so as well before parting ways. This teaches us that it is important for both sides in any agreement or transaction to be honest and keep their word even if one side changes their mind first. It also teaches us not to rush into agreements without thinking them through carefully and making sure we are comfortable with them before committing ourselves fully.
