This hadith speaks about the permissibility of eating sacrificial meat after three days. The narrator of this hadith is Ibn Khabbab - who is 'Abdullah bin Khabbab. He narrates that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri went on a journey and his family offered him some meat from the sacrificial animal. He said he would not eat it until he asked about it and so he went to his half-brother through his mother, Qatadah bin An-Nu'man who was present at Badr and asked him about it. Qatadah replied that permission was granted to eat the sacrificial meat after three days as mentioned in Sahih Bukhari.
