QUICK LESSONS:
Obey Allah’s commands even if it means sacrificing something we hold dear or valuable in this world .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about sacrificing valuable possessions for the sake of Allah. It was narrated from Abu Burdah bin Niyar that he slaughtered his sacrifice before the Prophet and the Prophet told him to repeat it. He said he had a Jadh'ah she-goat which was dearer to him than two muslimahs. The Prophet then told him to sacrifice it as an act of obedience towards Allah's commandment. This hadith teaches us that we should be willing to give up our most precious possessions if it is in accordance with Allah's will and commands us not to be attached too much with worldly things as they are temporary and will eventually perish away. We should also strive for obedience towards Allah's commands even if it means sacrificing something we hold dear or valuable in this world.
