Offer only fit animals for sacrifice

This hadith teaches us the importance of offering only fit animals for sacrifice. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ gestured with his fingers to emphasize that it is not permissible to offer an animal with one bad eye, a lame animal that is obviously lame, a sick animal that is obviously sick or an animals that is so emaciated that it appears there’s no marrow in its bones. This hadith encourages us to be mindful of our actions and ensure we are offering only fit animals for sacrifice in order to please Allah SWT. We should also take care of our animals and ensure they are healthy before sacrificing them as this will bring more reward from Allah SWT.
