Sacrifice During Dhul-Hijjah

SUMMARY: During the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, one should not remove anything from their hair or skin.

It was narrated from Umm Salamah that the Messenger of Allah said: "when the (first) ten (days of Dhul-Jijjah) begin, and one of you wants to offer a sacrifice, let him not remove anything from his hair or skin".

QUICK LESSONS:
Offer sacrifices with respect and reverence for Allah's commands; Maintain modesty and humility; Follow Allah's commands.
EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Umm Salamah states that during the first ten days of the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah, one should not remove anything from their hair or skin. This is because these are special days in which Muslims are encouraged to offer a sacrifice, known as qurbani. It is important to remember that this sacrifice must be done with respect and reverence for Allah and His commands. Therefore, it is important to maintain a sense of modesty and humility during this time by refraining from removing any part of one's body hair or skin. This hadith serves as an example for us to follow in order to show our devotion and obedience towards Allah's commands.
