It was narrated from Jabir that: the Prophet forbade the price of cats and dogs, except hunting. (Da if) Abu Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasa I) said: The Hadith of Hajjaj from Hammad bin Salamah is not authentic:

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by Jabir, who was a companion of the Prophet Muhammad. It states that the Prophet forbade people from selling cats and dogs, except for hunting purposes. This means that it is not permissible to buy or sell cats or dogs as pets or for any other purpose than hunting. This hadith teaches us to be kind to animals and respect their rights as living creatures. It also encourages us to use animals only when necessary, such as in hunting, rather than exploiting them for our own gain. Furthermore, this hadith serves as a reminder that we should not take advantage of animals in any way but instead treat them with kindness and compassion.
