EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how Sawdah, the wife of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, narrated that they tanned the skin of a dead sheep and used it to make Nabidh until it wore out. Tanning is a process in which animal skins are treated with chemicals or oils to preserve them for use in clothing or other items. In this case, they used the tanned skin to make Nabidh which is an Arabic drink made by soaking dates or raisins in water and leaving them for several days so that fermentation can take place. This hadith teaches us about resourcefulness and making use of what we have available instead of wasting resources. It also shows us how even something as simple as making a drink can be done with care and attention to detail.
