QUICK LESSONS:
Make use of resources available to you.
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of making use of resources. It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that Maimunah told him that a sheep had died and the Prophet suggested to tan its skin and make use of it. This teaches us to be resourceful and not waste anything, even if it is something as small as a sheep's skin. We should always try our best to find ways in which we can benefit from what we have been given or what has been taken away from us. We should also strive for excellence in whatever we do so that we can maximize our potential and get the most out of every situation.
